What gives that prick the right to buy and sell anyone he chooses? I know he's got the money, but Jesus give me a funkin break! Why don't he just pick every great player and what's left can be fought over by the rest of Baseball. He can't be good for baseball, they have to stop him sometime!!! If none of the other owners have the balls to confront him, then I think it's time to boycott Major League Baseball. He's just a big pile of
who can fuck off!!

hah, listen to you, crash. begging bud to down-the-deal on ONE forum, and admitting to being just as big-player-hungry as Uncle George, himself, on another.

There's a big difference between the Major Leagues and Fantasy leagues...hence the word Fantasy. Besides, me having a good fantasy team only makes about 11 other people miserable...the Yankees are hurting the game of baseball. In fact, I just took a SportsNation poll at ESPN yesterday about the A-Rod trade, one question asked if the trade was good or not for baseball, what got the most votes? Bad for baseball!

Capitalism? Show me the ROI on A-Rod and try an economics class while you are at it. I am a die hard capitalist. You know how companies that don't adjust die in capitalism? The consumer doesn't buy their product or service. That's where things are headed. As a consumer of baseball products and services, I want to see competition on the field, not in the board room with checkbooks. If they want my discretionary funds to go toward anything they've got, they've got to keep me interested. If baseball dies, the Yankees die. They are cutting off their nose to spite their face! Shortsighted capitalism always goes for the short term payoff and reaps long term crapola. Be a real capitalist. Demand the product you want! Who can solve the problem? Who is John Galt?
