Rant Fantasy Baseball League Board
Hey, now that the sign-up is over, I've decided to start a new thread to rant in about the league. For starters, I'd like to make a few announcements:
Draft Order Here is the draft order and just remember it reverses every round: 1. Mensa Pirates 2. Silent Assassin 3. Cubs 2004 World Series Champs 4. Lice 5. Boondock Saints 6. Original Bob 7. Crash Pikeys 8. Dirty Sox 9. All*Stars 10. Yo Momma 11. Brew Crew 12. Rant Giants (Sorry, no Bonds!) 13. Erotic Joes 14. Buckeyeboys 15. Crew 16. Bamanation 17. Joesanity 18. Murda Inc. Trade Voting Currently there is a poll on the message board related to how trades will be handled. The three options are: Leave decision in my hands Have a league-wide vote Leave veto power in my hands, but poll the league for their opinion Only three owners haven't voted and the top two options are tied up, so if no one else votes, my decision will be the tie-breaker. Points for loss by a pitcher There has been discussions about how many points a pitcher should lose for a loss. The options are: -3 -2 -1 Again, there is a tie for which option to choose and if the tie isn't broken, I will have the final say. No Streaming! For those of you who don't know, streaming is where you pick up a pitcher with a good matchup every day in hopes of stacking your stats. Anyone caught doing this will be punished. |

No streaming...thank you. I'm in a hockey league where a couple guys do it all the time and it pisses me off.

I agree. In a league last year, one guy started doing it out of the blue. Pissed me off, but I wasn't the commish so I couldn't do anything. So, what I did do (since my staff wasn't very strong) was pick up all the pitchers I thought he'd go after, then I'd drop them so they'd be on waivers and he couldn't go after them.

Both polls are still in a tie so if you haven't voted yet, please do. Also, there is a poll on closers for fun (bottom left of most of your home pages). Finally, the NO STREAMING rule goes for all players...not just pitchers.

Would anyone be opposed to me moving the draft time up an hour earlier???

The new draft time would be 8:00 PM EST on the same day (3/10). If this will not work for anyone, please let me know and we can discuss it. I would like to move the time up so the draft didn't go so late, but if it absolutely positively won't work for someone to move it up, then I will leave it. Just, if it won't work, please let me know.

Well, at least two people say they aren't fine with "new" time. I'd just like to know if there's any way they could work around it...that's it. If not, then I guess the current time will stick.

It's official...the draft time has been moved up an hour to 8:00 PM EST. If this absolutely positively WILL NOT work for anyone, please let me know and tell me what the earliest time is that WILL work for you. Thanks.

It's been March 10th the whole time, but now I split the difference and it is at 8:30 PM EST. And that's it, that's the time.
