Ok, don't run screaming into the night. I am wanting to get another round of this going in a month or so. However, it is going to be completely streamlined, seamless, and fluid, before it ever begins.

I am looking for several things. First, I need suggestions on potential topics. Anything you can think of is appreciated.

Second, if anyone would like to judge, let me know. If I get a large amount of judging requests, there may be a judging test to take. I already know that Mark Chalifoux has "retired" from the competition, and would like to judge.

Third, who wants to compete? It's going to be tough to recruit writers after the last one was so broken up, but I promise you it will be fluid this time.

Shane...how 'bout a topic on whether the NCAA should have a football playoff?

Does the NHL allow too many playoff teams? Is the season too long?

Should MLB have revenue sharing so the small market teams can compete with the large market teams?

are there any requirements at all?

cuz if not im totally in for being a p/cp guy... figure worse case scenario is nobody agrees with me at all...

and there are so many different topics in any one sport that involving all of them should be very easy to do

i do think that open ended questions are much better, however. like the best sports movie or the best non north american hockey player...

different questions like taht are great, unless you get 2 people that differ on the topic... cuz i just dislike the idea that id have to defend the BCS... not that i couldnt id just rather not feel dirty when writing.

As far as requirements go, no there are none, at least as far as writers are concerned.

I totally agree with you on the topic of questions. The open ended ones are without a doubt the best ones. I am currently compiling a list of them.

The contest should commence after the March Madness tournament.

Umm, there is no March Madness tourney. Unless you are in college and can play ball.

For the PCP tourney, I think you are already signed up.
