Kyle's Running Journal of Superbowl XL

5:45 PM – I just walked into the apartment and caught the latter half of the Stevie Wonder medley. At first I was disappointed because I missed the first part, but then I watched the second half. Is there any form of entertainment more embarrassing for those involved than performing for a big...

nyallsports is an unknown quantity at this point
I was wondering Kyle, Did you log everytime you took a piss also? I would have rather read about that!!!

This is what I did:

5:45 PM - Just finished my 10 beer, watching pregame

11:30 PM - I have no idea what happened, guess I passed out, also must have pissed myself, pants and couch smell of human waste

4:30 AM - (next morning) - I got gas from drinking too much beer and passing out during the superbowl, didn't miss much though, would have rather seen Jerry Rice as the "contestant in the most horrifying reality series ever."

The Super Bowl diary thing is out of control. We have two different ones over on SportsFanMagazine.com today, and nearly had a third if the party I attended didn't opt to drink themselves silly by the second quarter.

I actually like the diary angle, as long as they can pull it off. Not a bad play at all

ok just saw the ones at sfm, and I concur. It has gotten out of control. I guess it all depends on who's doing them, in theory they can work, but they aren't easier to do than a regular column, maybe even harder.

oh i skipped over the part where the steelers get lendale white possibly...they'd have to move into the upper half of the first round for that to happen...white will go no later than 15 after bush and williams...

i'd agree with that....i don't think maroney will go high 1st round...it depends on the needs of the teams ahead of the steelers...and if the g.m.'s go on a best player available approach

I could definitely see Pittsburgh dropping one of their linebackers in a trade to move up. They see their defense as a product of the system more than the result of their players. They shipped off Kendrell Bell and didn't miss a beat. Don't be surprised if anyone (save for Porter) from that LB corps gets shipped for a higher draft pick. I don't think they'll get high enough to get White, he's easily the third-best RB in the draft. Maroney could easily slip to them. Oh and Mark, this is your bitch-slap bench warning, next one will be a technical
