Jim Gray & Bud Selig Conversation
Anyone watch Outside The Lines last nite? Jim Gray interviewed Bud Selig about what else, steroids....since i believe that issue is being beatin into the ground, i wanna talk about Jim Gray's discussion on Mark McGwire. In 1998, McGwire admitted publicly that he took androstendione, which at the...

I think all pitching records before the mound was lowered should have an * too!
Seriously, I agree. Ever since Jim Gray interviewed Pete Rose a few years back, I haven't cared for him in the least. Of course, I'm not too fond of Petey either now. And Bud is a terrible commish who will probably live longer than any commish before him just so baseball will be f'd up for as long as possible. |

Bud screwed up in my eyes when he stopped the all star game a few years back because it went into extra innings. That was a travisty to the fans of baseball and really pissed me off. I agree that androstendione was legal back when Mark McGwire took it and there should not be any sort of * next to his name, as I am sure that Bonds will have one. Baseball was revived in 1998 when Mark McGwire and Sammy Sosa went at it to break the record. I am disappointed with Buff.
As far as Jim Gray is concerned, I am not to familiar with him and I do not watch the show. The bottom line is that until these players, who's names have surfaced during this steriod scam, come clean there will be an * next to each of their names and I know Bonds is telling the truth, just a gut feeling. If I am correct, it is a shame for this to be happenning to one of the greatest players to ever play the game, if not the best (in my mind) |

yea you know its a shame that everyone is guilty before we know for sure...canseco and caminiti might of done it to be better players..but it doesn't mean that every player who got better over the years did it too...jim gray is an interviewer for all the networks...nbc, espn..etc....he just asks awful questions and is always negative....the pete rose interview was a disgrace even though i liken pete rose to forest gump...i could swear he's the inspiration behind that movie...lol
baseball in my mind has dropped behind football as the favorite sport of the u.s but i could be wrong....but you were right about the rejuvenation back in '98..i know i was watching |

I remember McGwire's record breaking HR like it was yesterday. I was up in my bedroom watching the game and doing homework. Looked up from my book to see his at-bat...long line-drive to left...HOME RUN!!! Then the massive man almost missed first base because he was jumping like a little girl.
