NBA trade deadline today @ 3pm.

Not that I normally care about the NBA... trade deadlines always seem fun to me.

My predicitions...

*Iverson will be traded to the Nuggets.

*Spreewell will be signed by the Spurs.

*My Wizards won't do shit to make them a more competitive team come playoff time.

there were alot of rumors that the 76ers would trade someone to make Iverson better, I really dont see them trading him though.

ESPN reported last night that there was a possible deal in the works that would send Iverson to the Nuggets. But i guess this morning Billy King (sixers president) said it isn't going to happen. And I just read that Steven A. Smith is reporting that apparently the Nuggets were offering a bunch of garbage for AI.

They also reported that the T'Wolves might be trading Kevin Garnett. And of course, you guessed it.. the Knicks seem to be the team everyone is talking about getting Garnett. A reported deal is Anfernee Hardaway and Channing Frye for Garnett.

And of course the biggest headline for the Wizards is "Wizards quiet at deadline" Ugh.

Iverson won't be traded....at least not by the deadline. Most likely after this year. He is the talk of trade rumors every year. Either way they won't get much for him unfortunately.

well the knicks can't trade hardaway since he was dealt yesterday for stevie franchise....maybe richard jefferson and something else for garnett....that would be a great deal

I actually like Iverson...problem is trying to build a championship team around him doesn't seem to work. When we did make the NBA finals with him we have some blue collar hard working players with defensive minds...that was the key. This team can put up points on O but high school teams could score 85 on them.

ESPN has a trade generator on the site now so you can try and make deals...its kinda interesting

2 things...

1) literally 3 minutes after i said there would be no trades Earl Watson goes to Seattle

2) the ESPN trade thing

Iverson to Minnesota

Garnett to Atlanta

Joe Johnson and Josh Childress to Philly

it would be a GIGANTIC trade, and philly would get a lot closer to getting rebuilt and contenderish
