Release date for Fight Night Round 3?

Anyone know anything about this? I played Round 2 enough to get blisters on my thumbs. Did they change anything for Round 3?

I think its already out for PS2 (which is what i have and will get). I CAN'T WAIT to pick this game up. Apparently you can have rivalries now, with fights during the weigh-ins. I think they changed something with the punches. I just hope they make it harder, FN round 2 was pathetic. I can be the lightweight Arturo Gatti and beat all the heavyweights... that shouldn't be.

Man I can't wait for my next paycheck. I'm not really concerned about the difficulty, but I would like to see better pre-fight training. The training in FNR2 was so monotonous that it lulled me to sleep

i thought fight nite 2 was terrible...the original fight nite was unreal....hopefully this one goes back to the original style more....i do look forward to getting this game at some point in my life...gonna go look for the xbox release

To me this series of games is hard as shit, jay smokes me everytime...though he spends about as many hours a month playing has his post count.

thats alot of hours....i'd put money on this guy i know for the original one...he went to tournaments and what not..insane....it was always a 1st round k.o. when i played him

Its funny because I rarely play any games anymore... Fight Night round 2 is pretty much the only one. And the games aren't that hard once you play them a bunch of times. I do play that game alot though.

But i bet Sig's guy would smoke me... i really don't even think i'm all that go compared to the gamer nuts. That why I hate how easy it is... if i'm not that good, and can still crush the game, they need to make it tougher. They have the option there to change dificulty levels. Just make a "extra-difficult" level.

If you play as much as i do that doesn't happen. I played for a little last night with Arturo Gatti (the lightweight one) and beat Joe Fraiser, Muhamed Ali and Roy Jones Jr. (all heavyweights). KO'd them all within 5 rounds on the hardest level. That shouldn't happen.

From what I read about FNR3, everything has been taken to the top as far as gameplay, graphics, special features, and soundtrack, but they haven't done anything to improve the training games.

yea i picked up the game...i'm liking it...the training is the same but who cares..that part pisses me off...supposedly you have a real hard time wining if you weigh 160 and fight a guy 205...haven't tried it yet....a feature i like is the ref stopping the fight for a tko..instead of wailing on a guy for 10 rounds....

They had the ref stoppage in FNR2, but you basically had to open a cut and do everything short of killing the guy

not this one...i pounded a guy for 2 rounds...had 1 knockdown...no cuts or anything but i was must've hit him with 4 punches to his every 1...ref stopped it

also, you can get jumped at the weigh in...thats happened to me and i get clobbered each time
