I pick the Toronto Blue Jays to win the American League this year. They are going to have a break out year.

someone's a giants fan...
your best pitcher is hurt your closer is always hurt last year's closer is gone bond's will do good as long as they invent undetectable roids alfonzo can't hit behind and protect bonds your pitching staff is mediocre at best lets be realistic...your division is weak that's the only reason you still have a chance i never knew kevin brown, mussina, javier vasquez, contreras, and no-armed pitcher would be considered mediocre...whats the tigers rotation or indians staff considered? and the red sox, great, mediocre or horrible rotation? lets look...pedro, schilling & lowe...nice....tim wakefield and byung hyung kim to round it out...hmmmm |

That reminds me, is anyone going to any games this summer? I can only assume so, but I'm just making sure. I've personally got about seven game's worth of $27-a-seat tickets at Coors Field over the next five months.
Hope they're worth it this season...

Alright, you want my not-so-optimistic-prediction? Replace all the Royals post-season series victories with the Red Sox and then have the Sox losing to the Cubs in the WS.

The Pirates fans are mired in the reality that their team sucks, has sucked for quite a while, and will continue to suck for at least this coming season. I've got nothing against the Pirates, or any other team from Pittsburgh for that matter, but you can't deny that pro sports there have been pretty dismal in recent years. Only the Steelers have had any real semblance of success in recent years, and they won't be going anywhere this year either.
