Post Endorse a state's sports team? Endorse it all!

There has been a recent tide of North Carolinan gear being worn by people of all ages, and it has spread even to the Great Wide North of Canada, eh? The colour is the same in itself, light-blue, with that NC logo, the 2 letters intertwining eachother perfectly. It's genius, I have to say, they've...

Uh, what was the point of that?

To point that people wear jerseys from a certain place endoses a certain action?

I think not. Poeple wear jerseys for two reasons: 1)They like that team 2)they want to be fashionable. #1 is acceptable, and #2 is. They do not have any correlation between jerseys and paddling.

If I am not mistaken, those jerseys represent a college, not a highschool. Also, the choice of capital punishment is up to the state itself, not to people toting around NC jerseys. Here in Mass we dont allow that, and thats for the best.

You want to complain, bring it up with your state legislature.

No holding at all with sports jerseys with paddling. I just dont see it.

Also, the Nike with Malaysia thing is worldwide, and therefore falls into international territory where different country's laws coincide with each other, and that has to be worked out. Since it is an American based company, they have to abide by our rules too, and thats what they are breaking. Just because you wear it does not mean you support it, there are many ignorant people out there, not by choice, that wear these athletic apparel.

The whole changing colors of apparel is a standard business tactic. Theres a need, so there has to be a supply (supply and demand). Even in Boston they do it with different styles of hats. Its called maximizing profit. Thats how teams tend to spend so much more, or have nice stadiums.

I see no point to your post other than this; a state's reputation is one that it makes for itself. If you want NC to have a better reputation for other than sports, then you should tell your legislature to bring out ads or something to promote those attributes. A state's reputation is what it is, whether it be sports or something else, thats that.

Oh YEAH? I think paddling has a LOT to do with corporate sports gear. Of course there isn't a direct connection between the two, but what I'm saying (I'm not joking), is that by imposing sanctions on a state, you are indicating that they have issues.

It didn't work with Iraq, but that's because Saddam was fucked.

If people stopped buying NC gear completely, they would be like "Waaaaah why did they stop?", and when they find out, they'll URGE the legislature to ban paddling (doesn't cost much to ban it) to get the money coming in again.

Banning paddling would allow money to flow in more freely?

And can that be?

I don't see the connection between sports apparel and paddling. I went to a school in Florida that paddled their students and it had nothing to do with sports. It had more to do with the "Southern" style of discipline. Sorry man, there's no connection here.

Poor idea, I know. Future posts will have more relevance with sports, I promise.

Forget relevance, but you were trying to force something together, like trying to make shit and pee together taste good.

It just isn't a good combo.

You're right. Licking a girl's ass on it's own is great, and then sucking out her pee is great on its own, as well.

I've never heard of that ritual, and I live just outside of Canada. It's probably for the better though.

Paddling... KEEP IT GOING STRONG!

What's wrong with paddling? I know that the whole country is getting soft and trying to become as limp as Canada when it comes to morality and discipline. Take a good look at all the slack-asses walking around like a bunch of mall gorillas in their pro team logo knock-offs and their daddy's size 40W jeans.... They could all use a good paddling! Show some self-respect! Pretty soon we're going to be handing the keys over to these punks! You ready to let them take the wheel without any formal discipline?

Paddle-on Mr. Principal!
