This has to be the first time that we have ever had a sports figure which has been accused of child abuse. I the charges are real, wait check that I would not even want charges such as these associated with my name in anyway. This makes you look guilty right off the bat. In some ways I can understand that they blame him, a male is more prone to do something such as child abuse, but a mom!!!!

Jane Tylski is also a jackass, a bitch. If these two are found guilty, they both need to have the exact same things happen to them as they did to their adopted daughter.

Here is the real story:

Former NFL offensive guard Rich Tylski and his wife were accused of hitting their adopted daughter with a belt, slamming her head on a table and other abuse that left the girl with broken bones in her hands and leg.


The 35-year-old Tylski and wife Jane, 36, were free on $20,000 bond each on the child abuse and neglect charges. They were released Wednesday after turning themselves in. A message left on their home answering machine wasn't immediately returned, and it was unclear whether they had lawyers.


Tylski spent nine seasons in the NFL, playing in 95 games with the Jaguars, Steelers and Panthers before retiring after the 2004 season.


The child, whose age and name weren't released, was taken to a Jacksonville hospital March 10 for a fractured right thigh bone. Her parents said she had fallen down the stairs about eight hours earlier.


Doctors found extensive bruising in various stages of healing. A skeletal survey found six or seven healing fractures in the child's hand, the police report stated.


The girl later told investigators that she lied about falling down the stairs and she demonstrated on a doll how her mother had pushed her leg over her head until they heard a pop, the report said. The report also stated that Rich Tylski said he had hit the child with a belt.


The Department of Children & Families told police the girl missed 14 days of school from October to March.


DCF spokesman John Harrell said he could not discuss the Tylski case because of state confidentiality laws. "Whenever we receive information that a child may be abused, we respond within a matter of hours. We investigate all cases of child abuse thoroughly wherever they may lead. Our No. 1 priority is child safety," he said.


During an interview on March 24, the child told investigators that her mother slammed her head on the table when she wouldn't eat. She said both parents hit her. She said a scar on her forehead was from her mother slamming her head into the table, but denied her mother hurt her leg, the police report said.


In a second interview April 3, the girl described how her mother would bend her fingers backward.


All Pro Dad, which promotes active fatherhood, listed Tylski as an NFL player involved with the organization on its Web site. A call to its Tampa office was not immediately returned.

What's even worse is that this child was given to them.
I have two little girls, (love them to death) who recently broke my 52" big screen. You know what?
Nothing you can do about it! All I said to them was, we can watch TV no more. Of course I went out right away and got me another.
Sh*t happens, but to take it out on a child is just plain wrong. Too bad that person is nowhere near me. That guy would not last around our neighborhood. Not a jackass of the week, but A TOTAL JACKASS!

If you have read Jane Tylski's comments that have been on local Jax, FL news and in the paper post arrest, you would give these jerks a second week as "Jackass of the Week." Quoting Jane, "Our reputations are bigger than these charges. We are not private people. Anyone who knows us knows these charges are ludicrous." I have personally seen this sweet little girl and let me tell you, the fact that this bitch is out on bail is what is ludicrous. And waiting 8 hours to seek treatment for a fractured thigh bone that required 2 plates to set earns her a special place in Hell. It now appears that locally they are trying to sweep the matter under the rug, but hopefully the good people who are looking after the child's welfare will keep that from happening.

Good people, please don't let this die down. The Tylski's are already acting like they have this in the bag. He's still coaching a bunch of kids and she's still making her smart-ass comments. Meanwhile the child, although safe and stable, is hurt beyond belief not just from the physical abuse, but because she knows they don't want her anymore. These people shouldn't be able to just go on like nothing happened.

I just want to say how can you judge before you her the whole story? Do you know these people personally? I'm sure the answer would be no! You read stuff in the paper, or on the internet, and right away it must be true. LMAO!Never has there been a story posted on the internet or in the paper that wasn't true.(Rolling my eyes) I would love for a story to come out about one of you before ALL the facts can be heard! Let others judge you before you the facts can be presented. How many times have GOOd peoples names been rub in the dirt only to find that the story written about them was untrue. I know every one wants to protect children, beleive me I have two of my own, and I would Never want any harm to come to them. I just feel before you accuse get all the facts, and DON't beleive all you hear or especially read!

I think that since it is not from "National Inquirer" or the sorts of magazines, then it does have credibility just because it is from a more credible source.

I'd also like to point out that even though he is just a normal person (as is everybody) that he is put in a higher view because of his status. That he should behave because he is in the limelight.

With money and fame comes responsiblity.

Almost 2 years and the Tylskis still haven't faced a jury. It's been one delay after another. Someone living in the house at the time the abuse occurred has now corroborated the kid's story.
