HELP: what relievers would you suggest?

wondering if anyone knew of a guy that might be a team's closer that might have been missed by most people. . .

the reason i ask is that in my rotoball league, i'm getting killed by matt mantei and need to find someone to pickup (mantei is destroying my era and whip) while i drop him.

the other 11 teams have picked the league clean, it seems--terry adams, betancourt, are all gone. anyone that i might have overlooked?

or am i better off keeping mantei (even though valverde is the new closer)?

One good one that may help is Felix Rodriguez from the Giants, he is having a rather good year and helping my team out

any chance he might vulture some saves from herges/nen?

anybody else have any ideas?

Well Nen is kind of out and I am not sure if he will ever make a full recovery, seems to me that he cannot get out of his injury slump.... Herges wont last!

not to belabor the point, but do you think dropping mantei for him is a good idea at this time?

in your opinion, do you think valverde's got the job?

My one thought on this is that it is way to early in the season to drop anyone with a chance. Guy is proven and maybe you just need to wait a while, unless you are just in last place and have not won a game yet, lol

See what you have and maybe make a trade but also wait it out and make your run later on

yeah, i know where you're coming from on that one--i've been known to carry a guy for almost half a season waiting for them to turn it around.

i mis-wrote originally: my league is a 5x5 h2h, and i'm actually in second place, but i keep getting thrashed in saves. my sp is solid, but i need every pitching stat i can get because my bats have started out pretty dead.

Then maybe you need to look at your batting corps and see if there is anyone that has quality that you may be able to trade to someone else that has two RP's.... just a thought

I hate to say this but you may want to look at some of the Rangers pitching staff also

Chad Tracy is a hot rookie with the AZ DBacks (3B). Go to our league and check his stats. I already have R.A. Dickey off the rangers staff, he's done me good!
