Corey Fuller- JackAss of the week 5/25 - 6/1

Corey Fuller, of the Baltimore Ravens, was already facing charges of running an illegal high-stakes gambling thing at his house earlier this year where there was a shooting.

In addition, it was announced that he is also facing the charge of "the use of a firearm in commission of a felony" in addition tot he gambling charges.

What makes him a Jackass is not that he likes to play poker, or that he likes to own guns. It is that pro athletes should know that just because you make more money than I will ever see, you cannot do whatever you feel like. Matter of fact, you basically have a list of things you DON'T have to do, and two things you DO have to do, let me break it down...

DON'T:

1. Don't do drugs
2. Don't screw underage girls
3. Don't get into fights with the general public (other football players are ok, that's like practice)
4. Don't drink like a moron
5. Don't carry around guns, just because you can afford one...doesn't mean you NEED it
6. Do not do any of the above in a car...because we all know you like to speed and when you get caught for speeding while screwing underage girls after getting into a fight at the IHOP (why the farking hell you would be at an IHOP is beyond me) with a big fat doob in your ear and have to put your beer down and move your gun aside to hand the officer your license...you might be in trouble.

DO:

1. Play your sport
2. Show up to practice

But you have a point, athletes are just friggin retarded - some of them ayway.

I agree whole-heartedly. Atheletes should just show up to practice and play their sport and not make headlines anywhere outside those two realms of the world. If they do, they're probably doing something very wrong.

Unless they get into the news for donating money to charities or for helping the community somehow. That's acceptable.

How often doe that happen. An athlete donating to charity. I think a certain percentage of an athletes pay should go to some sort of charity.

SNEEZING!!!! And it hurt his back! not his nose! or neck! his back! how is that possible..

Actually, I think every player on the Chiefs is active in the community and other charitable causes. I'm sure just about every NFL player is as the NFL is sponsored by the United Way.

Actually, almost every major league ballplayer participates in some kind of charity or community event. If you go to www.yahoo.com and look at any player's profile, it will tell you exactly what that particular player is involved in if you click on "community involvement". It may seem that all athletes are constantly in trouble, but there's a lot of behind the scenes activities that many people don't hear about that athletes are highly involved in. Although I do agree, some of the athletes of today are just complete morons.
