2006 NBA Finals
Okay so this kicks off 2 days after the world cup starts. This is going to be an interesting thread and series. I cannot really tell you who is going to win but I would like to see the thoughts of others

I have no idea either but I would love to see Shaq get another championship
to stick it to Kobe and the Lakers.

This is truly a great day! Not only do the Finals start today, but one of the local sports radio guys here is a good friend of Shaq's. You may have heard him on NBA TV asking a crazy question about what Shaq would do to win another championship. Corby asked Shaq if Shaq's mom got bitten by a snake on her chest, would Shaq suck the venom out if it would guarantee winning the series. Without missing a beat, Shaq replied "No, but I would on your wife."
Gotta love the big man! Mavs in 6.

Mavs in 7... Shaq wins game 3 for the heat in their house... DWade plays like god in game 4 to even the series... the refs give game 6 to the heat...

So the Miami Heat won the NBA finals tonight 95-92 over the Mav's. Congratulations to the Heat for thier first ever NBA championship. I stated in an earlier thread that the difference in the series if the Heat won would be Wade. There is no doubt in my mind that he will get the Finals MVP. The vote is not final yet but come on!!
The only negative thing that I can say is that the 5th personal foul on Dirk should have been an offensive foul on Wade. Not trying to cry here cause I am a Warriors fan, but you have to agree with me that was a bad call seems like that is happening a lot more these day Now on to the new poll about Mark Cuban..... |
