Excellent article. Hopefully NBC will find a way to market hockey that isn't just bashing it all the time like ESPN does.

Let's hope so. The NHL needs to work better at marketing its stars as well. Someone like Jerome Iginla should become the posterboy for the league - the best player they have to offer, a man who fears no one, and one who is a potential Stanly Cup champion. They should promote their game and right now, Iginla is the man to do it for them.

Fantastic Article!! I agree with jtg, a marketable face would help the nhl to bring in more fans. Someone like Iginla (or I'm telling ya, Vinny Lecavalier would go a long ways with those of us who don't have a dick...).
