Actually that post was @ 2:34 and the soccer post was @ 2:39, so i think that was the actual #8,000. But i didn't even notice... i didn't even see i was that close. But still, #8,000 was about soccer?? Who would have thought that would ever have happened!

Yeah sorry about that. I have no idea what made me feel the need to be technical about it.

"The strongest rumors at the draft had the Lightning going after Columbus goalie Marc Denis. Feaster was seen having a lengthy conversation with Blue Jackets general manager Doug MacLean just before the draft started." Jones also reports a wild rumour of the Canucks possibly peddling Robert Luongo to the Lightning but Feaster declined to comment.

Spector's Note: It's not so much Feaster landing a veteran starter who's a proven winner, but rather the best one at the most affordable price. Hence the talk of his interest in Denis. Not that he's a bad goalie, but he's toiled for years unheralded backstopping lousy Blue Jackets teams, and we don't know how good he might be with a better team.

Yeah,Denis had a stretch last year where he played really well.
But then again so did John Grahame.
I'm sure Denis is better than Grahame,but I don't think he's the guy
the fans want to see here.

Pointed out by members on another board, Denis has some ties to Feaster when the goalie played for the Hersey Bears/Avs. Then again, the one great season with the AVS does not indicate that the bolts can reach such past accomplishment like the AVS. Also, does Feaster believe Denis is another incarnation of Roberto . . . played for so many years on a bad team and getting shelled every night with a cheap contract. Otherwise, I believe the CBJ is going to make Feaster bleed through his nose.

More rumors of getting Swiss Cheese Abby of the Habs and augggg Gerber of the Canes. JUST say no to those two!!!!
