Expansion has ACC standing tall (AP)
The Atlantic Coast Conference has improved competition, boosted television ratings and increased revenue since completing its two-year expansion from nine to 12 teams. The league also has gained ground -- some would even say passed -- the elite power conferences like the SEC, the Big 12 and the Big Ten.
