Good point.I was assuming the gambling was free as in not real money.
I wouldn't bet real money either.
I even stopped buying lottery tickets a couple of years ago.

WHAT?!?!?! It is? See this is why I think religion is a joke. No offense of course, but this is one of the dumbest things i've ever heard. A sin to put a few dollars on the Monday Night game of the week. LMAO. Amazing.

But its okay when the Churchs' have gambling at their carnivals... as long as it raises money for the church.

If it's not God will, it's a sin. Simple as that.
Do I do things not in God's will? Sure. But if I do,He convicts me of it and I do my best not to do it again.I've never been to a Church that had gambling at a carnival, and if they did,I'm not gonna say it's right.Church's do stuff wrong sometimes too.
I truely wish everyone could look at things from not just a wordly view, but from a spirtual one too, to understand the battle going on.

I think you guys know me well enough by now...

BUT, i just want to make it clear that I am not judging or saying there is anything wrong with what your beliefs are. I just don't agree at all. I've just never heard that gambling was considered a sin before. It really shocked me because the Church and their carnival that was right down the street from my parents house that i went to since i was a young kid, had gambling.
