I think we are going to get some great fights this year with all the talent they picked. I'll have to wait to pick a favorite because there are some guys i've never heard of. Can some one tell me if they are having 1 weight class or 2?

I think this season is going to have the best overall fights every week out of all the previous shows. Its gotta be because you have so many talented fighters fighting for their UFC lives. I have a feeling this is going to be the best season by far. The only thing it will be missing is Ken and Tito trying to kill each other.

Also, is that St. Pierre as a coach? Interesting, i want to see what he can do.

they don't have coaches this year i believe...just some ufc guys coming in and training with the guys and helping them out

who i want to win as of right now:

middleweight: eh..i'm leaning toward edwin dewees...gideon ray got mauled by my boy mike swick...i mean mauled!!! i loved it

welterweight: mikey burnett

oh....my picks are who i want to win...not who i think will win....its a toss up in my mind....everyone has experience....i can't wait

Yeah, they said that the two "coaches" will be more of assistants. Yeah, I think this will by far be the best season. In the past, all the fighters lacked experience, and it showed in their fights. These guys all have plenty experience. It will be a new UFC fight everyweek. My favorites are Chris "lights out" Lytle and Matt "the Terror" Serra at welterweight, andI'm not quite sure about the middleweights. I think Patrick Cote will make a good showing.

can't go wrong with serra....he can be a beast....middleweights are tough...noone really stands out.....cote has a shot but since he's canadian, i root against him....

they shoulda brought carlos newton back...is he awake yet from matt hugh's slam??? newton was badass though

Newton would have torn these people up.. i think UFC knows better than to put a "ringer" onto the show. The question is, is Hughes awake from that yet? He was out as well.... he had no clue he had won.

My gut feeling is Serra and Dewees at this point, but as i said, i don't know anything about some of these guys.

pete sell (2 fights) - beat phil baroni(good win) but lost to nate quarry(bad loss) 2-1 since 2005

gideon ray (2 fights) - got mauled by mike future champ swick in 22 seconds & lost to david louiseau...5-3 since 2005..lost in 4/06

travis lutter (multiple ufc) - beat marvin eastman in 04...went on downslide quick...lost to matt lindland & trevor prangley (who?)..3-2 since 2005...won 2 fights in 06

scott smith (1 ufc) - lost to david terrell in 4/06..is this really a comeback? 3-1 since 2005

jorge rivera (multiple) - beat louiseau in 2003...lost to lee murray and rich franklin..won his next fight but lost to leben in 1/06.....another favorite...on top of all that, this guy has fought anderson silva, mark weir, travis lutter and brandon lee hinkle in his career...

edwin dewees (2 fights) dropping down from 205...lost to rich franklin and leben...5-2 since 2005

shonie carter (tons of ufc) 1 fight in ufc since early 2000's....looked old and lost to nate quarry...

jeremy jackson - (1 fight) lost to nick diaz....he doesn't belong here..nick diaz is jay's boy..and he stinks

chris lytle - (mulitiple) lost to diesel riggs and parisyan in 05

matt serra (mulitple) - lost to parisyan in 05...beat a ton of guys earlier..one of the favorites

pete spratt - (multiple) - lost to koscheck...he should be the 1st one out cause koscheck can eat my ass

din thomas - no info on ufc.com but never fear..sherdog.com says he has lost his last fight 3/06 and is 2-2 since 2005

rich clementi - no info..never fear folks...sherdog proudly answers this for us...last fight lost to caol uno(name from the past) in 3/06..he's 5-1 since 2005

Its a show full of B level fighters i see. None of these guys were quite good enough to beat any of the A level fighters so they are going to beat on each other.

So the winners get title shots against Matt Hughes and Rich Franklin?? Ouch.
