Just as I called it.
In typcal Chuck Liddell fashion, a relentless punching display, he stopped Sobral in 1:35 of the first round. Sobral was coming off of a 10 match winning streak since losing to Liddell in their last meeting. Fuck Yeah! Liddell can't be beat right now. He is just too good. He comes from all angles with punches that have devastating force. Good luck Silva... Oh yeah, as I imagine evertone predicted. Forrest Griffin beat Bonnar unanimously. |

I was gone so i didn't get to see it, but I kind of figured Liddell would win this one rather easily. Its also nice to see Forrest beat Bonnar again.

Did the Bonnar-Griffin fight live up to its hype? I was going to watch it but i actually went out. Liddell is a badass, but Silva can take his shots..for the first few rounds.

I've said it before Liddell can't be beat right now. Silva will go down by punches if he ends up stepping up against Liddell |

Anyone catch Liddell on Opie and Anthony this morning? I had a ton of traffic to sit in, so i got to listen to him for a while. Pretty funny interview with Opie and Anthony doing everything but actually going down on Chuck. Chuck was funny talking about how he can't wait to kick the shit out of Tito again. And saying that the only time he saw actual fear in his opponents eyes was when he was about to fight tito. LOL
Chuck said they are in talks to get a Liddell vs. Ortiz fight set up for December. |

yea jay i heard him on o&a this morning...good interview...loved how he just basically tore apart tito ortiz....and liddell mentioned that silva got knocked out in his last fight anyway...so he had no shot with him...hahaha i got a kick outta that
i don't think ortiz is the answer to liddell anyway....but i guess they gotta have some sort of fight for him since he continues to crush everyone |

Plus Tito has a ton of fans (from TUF and from before), plus even more people who hate him... so there will be a ton of people interested in getting this fight. Which means more money for the fighters and the UFC. And like you said, he beats everyone anyway, so why not put a tough fighter in who will draw a crowd?
