AFC East Overview...followed by a biased rant on Daunte Culpepper.

First of all, let me start off by saying that the AFC East is looking like the wackiest, sloppiest, and most exciting division in the AFC. I look forward to analyzing its events in the coming weeks, I must, however, begin with a biased rant on one Daunte Culpepper after a brief division overview.

new england = playoffs and early exit
buffalo = 8-8
ny jets = 5-11 or 6-10 cause of the schedule
miami 6-10 at best

NE=11 wins East title, makes it to AFC final then who knows.

you did see the game on sunday right....if we started the game in the 1st quarter like most of the other teams...we win that game

Now I would hate to appear contrary, but, here goes. The Jets aren't the first team to lose a close one to NE. This team all during it's successful run has won very few blowouts. For whatever reason be it that they get conservative or any other reason, once Belichick gets a good lead his teams back off and seemingly allow thier opponents back into the game. The Jets looked good in the second half no doubt, but it isn't how you look in the NFL(are you listening TO) it's the final score that counts. To quote Parcells, "you are what your record says you are". If Pennington stays healthy maybe I'll be the one saying coulda, woulda, shoulda, the next time. For now however, it is what it is.

well your right...you guys won...and you held on...against a mediocre team..when you play indy or other high scoring offenses...your in trouble

Indy will definitely be a real test. Denver is in this weekend which will be a good barometer of where both teams are right now. The Jets will be better than mediocre this year.
