well i stayed up till 1 last nite watchin the replay after i forgot to tape it....and steve forbes is clearly the best fighter....the grady/norberto fight was a real good one....grady has heart but steve is quick and experienced....steve should win this

I'm glad that K-9 lost, but I think it was close. That second fight was bad ass. Grady got knocked down, and came back. He looked just as bad as Ebo after he got dropped. I didn't think they should have stopped that fight!!! Oh well, the finals will be pretty good, I like Forbes to win it, but Grady proved that he can't be counted out. Grady's wife was hot too!

As if we needed further proof the Contender is rigged and a joke. One judge scored the Brewer/Berto fight 49-46 for Brewer (4 rounds to one). WTF? Does the judge know NOTHING about scoring fights?? He never gave Berto credit for the knockdown... the first round had to be a 10-8 round for Noberto. Even if the judge thought Brewer won every other round, the score would be 48-46 (4 rounds to 1, minus the point for the KD).

Either way, the final should be exciting, but I don't see anyway for Forbes to lose this. Hey won't have the dirtiest fighter in the world (K9) to deal with again. How many times will the ref let someone get away with holding and hitting behind the head??? Well if you are on the contender, you can get away with it forever apparently. Very frustrating night for boxing fans last night.

Good point, I almost forgot about the head holding. That shit pissed me off. The Ref told him at least 10 times! I'll be honest, I was yelling at the TV.

yea how do you not take a point away so he realizes that he can't keep doing it...plus he looked so shocked when they said steve won...

i hear ya jay....let me see if i'm right...not sayin it makes sense though

round 1: judge scores the knockdown but sees the round as a tie...so berto gets it 10-9

round 2-5: grady 10-9

grady: 9+10+10+10+10 = 49
norberto: 10+9+9+9+9 = 46

just a thought....still think he's nuts....that was a split decision fight...47/47

10-8 1st...berto wins another round 10-9...loses the rest....

grady wins 3 rounds...loses 1 and gets the 10-8 round 1....

You lose a point for a KD either way... so if he had Brewer winning the round even with the KD it would have to be a 9-9 round (like it would be if he lost a point for low blows or something). Unless i'm wrong.

I refuse to score the fights though... the contender people will show you what they want you to see of the rounds. They want to make the fights as close as possible to keep people interested. I'm thinking the fight wasn't as close as they showed us based on the judges results. They did this every time last season too.

She's not that great in person though, kinda dumb, but Grady's a good dude!!!
