Series Predictions: Yankees vs Tigers

My prediction: Yanks

Reasoning: Have been playing really good ball of late! Veterans are plentiful on this team and have tons of experience. Hitting could carry the pitching. Johnson needs to have a great series!

Prediction - Yankees

Reason - Have you seen their line-up?

Johnson is only pitching one game in this series.

Yankees
They are loaded
Tigers-no depth. Verlander is worn out.

Obviously the Yanks....I don't like their pitching at all but that lineup...Arod hitting 6th...disgusting...next year...it should be the NL allstars vs. the Yankmeeess!

Wang, Mussina and Johnson for games 1, 2 and 3... I don't see the problem with their pitching. Which teams WOULDN'T take these three in the playoffs?

Yanks will win

Reason: Because Jim Leyland will choke on a cigarette in the dugout thereby leaving the Kittens leaderless.

My issues with the pitching...game longevity for Mussina and Johnson and the bullpen isn't strong and Rivera can he be relied on for more than an inning if needed?

But with their bats jay and I could start these games and the yanks would still win.

Mike...his money is STARTING to show???????

Prediction: Tigers, because I really, really, REALLY hate the Yankees and I enjoy seeing their all-star roster lose in the postseason to unexpected foes in unexpected ways.

Yeah, and to see George fuming mad in his suite watching his team go down.
