1. Anaheim - One of the best teams of the second half of last year ust got better. Best combo of dmen the league has seen since Neidermayer (again) and Stevens.

2. San Jose - On fire after Thornton arrived. They'll have him for the whole year this time.

3. Ottawa - lost their second...

Did you do this list Satan??? I like it for the most part... better than the TSN.ca one, IMO. If its yours, GREAT work!

My little tweeks... I think the Devils are too high, certainly behind Nashville and Carolina. Buffalo is way too low. They could be the best team in the east right now. The rest seems pretty good, maybe only a 1 or 2 spot difference from what I would do.

I lost respect for Ward (Canes) this AM with a commercial on the radio.

I kept hoping he would say something like Jagr or Cuervo.
I thought he was a hockey player, that was something I expected out of an NBC The More You Know commercial.

Flu shots have nothing to do with NHL rankings. Please pick one of the 30 other off topic threads to discuss in detail.

I'll do a full power ranking thingie as well a few weeks into the season Satan. Its far to hard to tell pre-season (aka, i'm too much of a pussy to try).

Gotta agree.Good thread started by Satan is now ruined.
I have teams like Buffalo,Minnesota and Edmonton higher,NJ and San Jose a little lower.

I would probably change some things here but can't back them up enough to do it.

Questions:

5. Devils - Sure strong finish but slow start last year...thats not a factor?

7. Rangers - I think I would swap the Devils here.

8. Why is everyone so down on Ward?

9. I would have them higher by a couple.

13. Will it? Probably not....why? (homer alert) I have them 9

20. Colorado I have them a couple higher but can't back that up with shit.
