2006-2007 NBA predictions and talk
Okay so the Maimi Heat are the defending champs and who knows if they can repeat. Don Nelson leaves Dallas and heads back to Golden State (cannot figure this one out yet). Kobe will probably win the scoring title again, just because he is in LA
My top 5 teams going into this season (not in any order):

A healthy Houston should give teams some trouble; ditto that for Phoenix. Dallas will be strong again, as will Miami. I like a Dallas -v- Miami rematch, this time with a different outcome.

I wouldn't count out the Warriors, not that I am a fan or follow them in any shape or fashion. With the return of Don Nelson, I think that they will do good things!!

I see Kidd and Carter being hurt, and Jefferson and Kristic not having much around them this season. Also, Boston being better with a bit more experience in the backcourt and Paul Pierce being able to lead a team with a few options off the bench.
It is possible both make the playoffs, but Chicago, Miami, Cleveland, Washington, Detriot will make the playoffs barring a horrible break or two. Leaving 3 spots and I think the Magic will be better with some experience, the Atlantic Division has to send SOMEONE my pick is BOSTON, and I think the Bucks will get in. Like I said, I see Kidd and Carter missing at least 27 games a piece, and I don't like the Nets bench. I would love to have the Sixers in the mix, but we're goin to blow this year. |

your basing your predictions on injuries that haven't happened yet??? and your saying boston can get into the playoffs with inexperienced pg's all over the place...telfair has never led a team yet and rajon rondo couldn't shoot a tennis ball into the ocean...i don't like your boston pick...and the nets will not miss the playoffs...bank on that

Okay, so i'm bored and tired of dealing with this problem at work. So i look at the NBA standings for the first time this year. Just to see who is doing well. And I see the East has 2 (TWO) team above .500. How is that even remotely possible? The west has 10.

The East has a tougher schedule, you know shitty teams playing shitty teams, it makes winning tougher and whatnot.
