It is Friday night and I am about to leave the office for the greener pastures of the Shany where the little vixen Kristen will pour me a cold draft, take a small sip for herself and then put ot in the bar in front of me. Here are some parting thoughts on the week.

1. MIKE - Great site brother! I enjoy the whole experience. Whoever has had a hand in developing this did good work.

2. SSIGS - Love the whole Jersey/NY thing. Looking forward to the Pats-Jets second game and will be at the Garden when the time comes to boo and hiss the Rangers when they come to town. Joe Namath is ugly and you cannot deny it!

HOLYCHRIST - Nice job changing the pace here a bit. BigMike is going to be in your face. Be prepared and be quick!

BIGMIKE - You return is noted. Good luck Sunday I think the hawks wiil have their hands full. You should upgrade your profanity it gets repetitive. I look forward to to your enraging the whole of rant world and to their hopefully witty and urbane retorts. I will stand at the ready no matter the direction or volume of the invective.

GUNNY, RUSTY, BEERS, CAPTAIN, JGAC, SATAN, AND ALL YOU LURKERS - Drinks are on me at the Shanty tonite!

Where the fuck is the Shanty!? You should be thanking Jesus that its not in Seattle because paying for all the booze I can drink in one night would put you outta business.
PS HC I hope a semi truck hits your mini van head on and kills everyone inside! I'll be watching the news and praying to see your mangled soccer-mom mobile crushed and covered in blood spatter and grey matter. Please God, grant me this one wish.

Was a good night at the Shanty. The halloween crowd was out in big numbers and the city was active and fun.

Captain who? This was the question when I sent along your sentiments. All kidding aside she is doing well and newly enrolled in the local state college arts program. She will be working with me on my local access television productions.

screw the pats and the way the rangers are playing, we're gonna lose to the bruins..but first we have to lose to the devils tonite so i can be miserable tomorrow

rutgers rolled navy and then the sabres rolled the rangers...but then the jets tried to lose the game but failed in doing that...so maybe thats a sign my teams are coming alive...

The Bruins right now are looking like the same old thing. Inconsistent skating, no pressure going forward, indifferent effort all around. The forwards may as well be defensemen. They lost to the Islanders las night and St.Louis the night before.
