It's crazy to think this team went on to win the world series. They had lost 8 straight to let Houston back into the NL Central race but decided to clinch on the last day by 1 game. They were 1 game away from not even making the playoffs and they had the heart and determination to win the World Series. I give the cardinals props on their great playoff run and I don't know why especially since I'm a cubs fan ha.

Congratulations Andy for we thought the Cards would do last year and what we didn't think they would do this year!

It is funny how two 100 win teams (2004 & 2005) could not win the big one but this team did after almost choking their way out of the playoffs. Hey, whatever. All I know is that I was ecstatic to see the Cards win the way they did.

As far as the AL vs. NL thing goes, I still think the AL is the better overall league but NL style baseball is a lot more fun to watch.

So how about the redbirds right now? Left for dead, certainly terrible and now they are making a move to take over the NL Central. They have kicked the crap ot of the Brewers for the last two games, that's for sure. Of course, the Cards still don't have any pitching so IF they make the playoffs they won't do anything BUT it is still nice to see.

It's good to see actual races in the different divisions. The Cards are making their run but I gotta go with the Brewers here then the Cubs. The Cards got hot at the right time last year. I can't see it happening again.
