This Saturday night, Nov. 18th!! I'm definitly getting this one. GSP vs. Hughes could be a classic.

Hughes, Sylvia, Vera(by KO) or Mir(by Submission) its a toss up... probably Vera... This should be a great PPV!

You have Hughes beating GSP? I think this fight is certainly a toss up, but i'm leaning more and more towards GSP. My thinking is that he's worked so hard on avoiding the submissions since the last fight. And without a submission, I don't see Hughes winning. The question is, can GSP successfully defend the submissions for 5 full rounds? I doubt it... so i'm thinking he will go for the KO early.

Hughes is still in GSP's head... He still hasn't gotten over their last outing. I think GSP wants to keep it standing, and he won't be able to. No one has ever avoided a Matt Hughes take down... Except for Penn first fight. Hughes will take him down and pound him. I hope he doesn't go for the submission, and just punishes him! I think the only chance GSP has is the same chance anyone who fights MMA has... the Puncher's chance. Keep in mind, I am very biased for Hughes, I think he is by far the best pound for pound fighter ever to step in the octagon. Liddell of course is a close second. GSP obviously stands a good chance, but I just don't see him beating Hughes

I don't disagree with any of that. This fight is such a toss up to me. There wouldn't be many results in this fight that would shock me. There is no way i betting any money on this fight either. Two weeks ago, I was saying Hughes will win. Now, after watching more GSP fights and their 1st fight, i'm kind of leaning towards GSP. And how knows... come Friday, i may be leaning towards Hughes again.

Either way, i think it will be a great battle... and I can't wait to see it.

very good ppv this weekend....i just think hughes is such a stuck up prick that i hope gsp knocks him out so hughes can eat a little humble pie....silvia will win his fight cause the size is just to much.....vera and mir should be a good fight....i wish mir never got hurt cause then this fight woulda been HUGE...but after mir came back, he got beat in his first fight and did not look like himself at all...i say vera wins that fight and then takes on sylvia next heavweight title fight

Yeah the wifey and I were talking about this fight last night and were both saying how much Hughes' attitude annoyed us. He is such a cocky asshole.. it makes it hard to root for him. But GSP is a French Canadian... and that makes it really hard to root for him as well.

She's rooting for GSP because she wants to bang him.

I think Vera will have to beat Orlovsky(sp) before they give him a title shot...

you could be right bm but the heavyweight division blows and they have noone to challenge silvia...and does anyone wanna see a siliva/arlovsky 55?? i think they might push vera if he wins...

totally agree on hughes....he's a great great fighter, but his attitude just annoys the fuck outta me(not that i could do anything about it without a gun) and i'm not a huge fan of french canadians either...mrs. jay is a french canadian lover...good choice dude

What can I do? She doesn't like them all... just GSP and Simon Gagne.

I agree with Sigs about the heavyweight division. I think Arlovski is stuck until someone beats Sylvia. No way the UFC lets Arlovski in an "eliminator fight" with Sylvia as the champ. They won't be able to sell too many more fights between the two of them. Arlovski won't get his next title shot until Sylvia loses.

Good point! I think there are a lot of people who want to see Silvia/Mir 2! That was sick when Mir broke sivlia's arm! I think Vera should drop down to 205... He's a small Heavy weight. I pick mir if it goes to the ground! I've seen him do some crazy submissions! You guys might of actually talked me into paperviewing this one. My boss wants me to have a party and paperview it, but I wasn't sure... I think you guy might have pumped me up for it!
