I like the end of the article.One day one of his players is going to lay Bobby out on the floor.
There were rumors Knight was coming here when Buzz Peterson got fired. Thankfully,we got Bruce Pearl. |

Yes he hit the young mans chin with a closed fist to make him look at him but I believe it's getting blown out of proportion. Bob Knight is a great coach. The parents and kid that it happened to said they had no problem with it the media just likes to blow things up.

Yeah I am sure ESPN played that friggen clip over and over and over and over again! Probably had some Doctor/analyst saying that the "degree of his hand to chin impact, could have caused some sort of serious neck injury"
Honestly it looked a little more serious to me than just telling a kid to keep his chin up Kid is from Plano, about 10 miles from my house > freeball's mom lives there |

This incident with the kid was NOTHING. The player doesn't have a problem with it, the players mother doesn't have a problem with it, the school doesn't, etc etc.
Shit, I wish my wrestling coaches would have only bumped my chin to get us to listen. |

I hate to piss on your it isn't a big deal parade. It is a big deal. He has no business putting his hands on anybody at any time! This guys history is one of abuse both verbal and physical. These guys are not training for combat.
Larry Bird demonstrated in 1976 just how smart he is when he walked of Mr. Knights practice court then took a year off to go to Indiana State. |
