Diego to fight Riggs

Diego Sanchez Vs. Joe Riggs
Drew Fickett Vs. Karo Parisyan
Marcus Davis Vs. Shonie Carter
Alan Belcher Vs. Jorge Santiago
Dave Menne Vs. Luigi Fioravanti

Looks like they will give us 3 fights that night. I wouldn't be suprised to see one or 2 more fights added.

that has the potential to be a really good fight...riggs has fought everyone so he's not gonna be intimidated by sanchez at all..i'm rooting for riggs in this fight

Yeah i don't think there is a chance Riggs is intimidated at all by Sanchez. To me, this is a toss up fight... i wouldnt' be suprised to see either come away with the win. This is Diego's first big test in the UFC while Riggs has been in there with the best. Riggs might just be too strong for him.

I don't think its the first big test for diego, Perisian was a test, I want riggs to win, Diego needs an ego check. I don't think he will. Riggs is tough as nails, a hard hitter, and very strong. I don't think he can hang with Diego's wrestling ability. If Riggs can keep it standing, I think he'll knock Diego out, but I don't think he can keep it standing.

I like Diego, but i'm not a homer with him though. I think he's proven he's a very good fighter, and i've liked what i have seen so far. But he has yet to prove he's an elite fighter yet, and Riggs is his toughest test. I'm not saying he's going to lose, but i wouldnt' be too shocked.

Yeah, you're right BM... not his first test... guess i should have said toughest test. Plus, Diego has shown he has trouble finishing fighters off. And that could be a problem against Riggs... he's going to be dangerous to the end.

Oh there's no question I have a small 'man-crush' on Diego. Riggs is just scary! I think i would piss myself if he ever tried to fight me at a bar.

I was looking on Sherdog, Riggs has fought the Whose who of mixed martial arts. knocked out Kendal grove in 04 on rumble on the rock. Fought Cabbage! Submitted curret Ref Herb Dean in 03. He has a world of experience

if you fight cabbage, you have no fear of diego...i know he was alot bigger then...but after fights like that, how can you be nervous...not saying he will win...just saying he will come out fighting..plus he's fought over 30 times and is only lie 23 or something like that
