Thoughts so far!
I wanted to see if everyone that is participating in this year's contest feels that it is fair and fun?
Is there anything that you would change? add? remove? fix? Use the Points Spread to make it harder? TIA Mike |

One huge problem with the point spread idea.... When do you set the point spread?? You would have to wait a little while until you find out what the spread will be come Wednesday. So it will only give a small 3 day window for people to do their picks.

The spread will make it more difficult, but in all honesty the spread can vary from region to region. You would have to pick one good source and stick to it all year.

so pick 1 source and go with the spread that is put out on monday or tuesday and stick to that spread as the one that will be used...even if it changes, so be it

I think its good so far, spread eh not a ohh lets do it thing for me.
Unfortuantley I don't like that the picks have to be in by Friday night at 12. So much can happen up until game time that could impact a pick, I know its probably easier this way just my pet peeve. Example: The Jags vs. Bills game, it wasn't known that McGahee was going to play untill like saturday/sunday...a player like that out can really impact a pick (not a great example this year but it makes my point) |

I wish that there was a better way to have the end time coded better, but I did not write the code for this software. It has a few small bugs in it and I will correct it when I have time and I finish on the upgrade
I am getting tired of vbulletin writing upgrade after upgrade, keeps me wondering what I need to do next to keep this site going The spread would have to come from one source as Bill stated, agreed upon or whatever When the time comes and if there is a tie, I will use a new pool for the playoffs and use the spread to try and seperate the winners Probably would use the spread from USA today or something like that |
