Judging by many of their public statements this week, Rutgers players might as well be preparing for an early season non-conference game instead of the biggest game of their lives. Forget luring any of them into talking about the prospect of ringing out the year in Miami or New Orleans. It's as if coach Greg Schiano has forbidden even the words "bowl game" from crossing their lips.

Yeah what the Cincy game can do to fans confidence. Man, all you have to do is look what they did against Louisville. Forget about Cincy. They will be up for this game.

i don't think about the cincy game...that was just a flashback to what we used to be...but now we're in morgantown with a chance to go to a bowl game noone ever thought we'd make..and all we have to do is beat a team many thought would go undefeated and play in the national title game...and stop 2 guys who could potentially be heisman trophy winners....no pressure
