New NHL Uniforms

Has anyone been reading about these at all? I'm truely scared to think what they are going to look like. And now, all the jersey's we own will become "vintage" i suppose. This is just a ploy for the league to get more revenue money. They know a TON of people are going to go out and buy them because...

Great.I'm very scared too.Why does the NHL have to constantly screw with time honored tradition? The way this article is written I expect the players to be wearing halter top jerseys made of spandex for crying out loud.

I've heard they are going to look more like NFL jerseys. Also, how can a jersey provide more protection?? I call BS here. I see no reason to change the jerseys at all however. Has anyone ever heard ONE NHL player complain about the flexibility of the jerseys?

Ah, i guess this is just me worrying... maybe they will turn out to be even better than the ones they have now.

Go back to the lace up 'V'. That would be better.

The Maple Leafs used one of those recently or maybe they still do.

Just found this article on the latest NHL Jerseys, seems the change may not be as radical as some may have feared but I guess we just have to wait and see.

Hey Gunny, nice to hear from you. I hope the NHL learned something from the new basketball in the NBA fiasco.

Good point Bil, nice to hear from you my good man!

It does seem that at least the NHL got feedback from the players before rushing headlong into the new jerseys, something the NBA did not do with the new ball.

Thanks Rusty, I suppose the new NHL jerseys can't be any worse than what is coming for the Milwaukee Admirals.
