Screwed? Doesn't this kinda make sense? If Michigan's loss is to ANYONE else, then it would be more of a question.

Nope, I agree with you. Michigan loses by 3 against the #1 team and Flordia loses by 10 against the #9 team. You're right Michigan got screwed!

What I meant by screwed was that they have been ahead of Florida in all the polls forever now. Suddenly voters forget about Michigan since they have not played, and Florida jumps over them. It just pisses me off...

They say the BCS polls will determine the two teams. What a crock of shit! The computers had Michigan and Florida dead even. So the human voters determined who gets in. What exactly did the BCS poll decide? Thats right nothing.

And the quote of the day, from Meyer... "i've only seen Michigan play once this year". <---- Yet this guy gets a vote in the coaches poll???

Well said Jay.This is what a conference championship game does.Voting based on what is seen that week,not over the course of a season. As a huge SEC fan,I would normally be rooting for the SEC team,but I cannot root for such a classless coach as Urban Meyer.I hate OSU, but at least they have a coach I can respect.GO OSU!

As much as it pains me, I will be rooting for OSU to blow Florida out. Maybe this will show everone (once again) that we need some kind of playoff. Michigan loses by 3 on the road, I hope Florida loses by 21 on a neutral field. And I hope Michigan makes a laugher out of it vs. USC.

I love the arguement, "Michigan may be the 2nd best team, but Florida won their conference". So people would rather NOT have the 2nd best team in the title game than. Interesting. I'm boycotting and not watching the championship game.

a couple guy had some good arguments in favor of florida though....beating alot of bowl eligible teams...playing a lot harder schedule...a few other things i can't remember cause all i can think about is how rutgers went from the orange bowl to the fuckin texas bowl which is on the nfl network that i don't get

That was complete garbage! Florida does not deserve that game more than Michigan, Florida lost to #11 Auburn, and damn near lost to unranked SC!!! How in God's name did they give them the title shot!? That's why I hate the BCS! I wish they would take the top 8 teams, and put them into an elimination playoff like every other fucking sport!!! Florida is going to get their asses kicked, and then everyone will be talking about how they should have had michigan in that game!
