Bob Bradley New USA Coach.
The U.S. Soccer Federation on Friday will name current Chivas USA coach Bob Bradley as U.S. national team coach a source close to the negotiations confirmed to ESPN.com on Thursday. But the hiring is only temporary.
After lengthy negotiations with former German national team coach Juergen Klinsmann fell through, the USSF decided to stay close to home with its choice to replace Bruce Arena as U.S. men's national soccer team head coach. Interm basis huh? Interesting, sounds like they are still holding out hope Klinsmann will accept the job. What do you soccer heads think about Bradley? I don't know much about him at all, other than he was this years MLS coach of the year at Chivas. ESPNsoccernet - US - Bradley to be named interim U.S. coach |

well it was clear from the beginning that the ussf wanted klinsmann and waited on him to make a decision...it seems control and power were the big sticking points and cause of that we lost out on him....so they hire bob bradley as interim coach...he's been quite successful in mls, accept when he coached the metrostars...i don't believe he is the answer to lead us forward..i still believe a foreign coach with european experience is necessary....big mistake letting klinsmann get away....i wouldn't be shocked though if they make another attempt at getting him after the new year...if not, jose pekerman (former argentina coach) could be the choice
