Party of the times > Germany 1990

I have never posted about this but I thought that this would be as good a time as any

In 1990 when Germany won the world cup, I was there and man what a party. Has anyone ever seen an entire country party, there as beer for days. So easy to get a woman that night, everyone was drinking even the animals

It was an amazing time my friends

well i for one am glad to see someone other than me, gunny and jay post in the soccer area

i think your very lucky you were there in 1990...it musta been a mad house cause as you know, soccer is the only sport that matters over there....i remember that world cup...the short shorts, the curly mullets...i believe rudy voeller was the star of the west germans back then...gunny can yell at me if i'm wrong...they beat argentina in the finals, redemption for them as argentina and diego maradonna beat them in 1986....the 1990 world cup was also the first time the u.s. qualified since 1950...led by nj born stars tony meola and john harkes

Yeah it was quite amazing man, everyone was getting drunk and screaming through the streets. It was to easy to get laid that night, no matter what town you were in!

They have a little holiday in february(?) every year called Farthing(sp?). That is always a raucous drunken party. Very easy to get it wet on that day. I used to go to Heidelberg for that. There is a big university there with co-eds from all over the world.
