TUF 5 coaches announced!

Tuf 5 will for the first time consist of 16 lightweights. The two coaches will also for the first time fight in the live season finale. BJ Penn and Jens Pulver!?
Like me, you may not be that excited, but if you recall they fought one of the best lightweight fights ever in the UFC. Their rematch has been anticipated for years! Pulver has had a rough road ever since the UFC abolished the lightweight division.
IMO Penn will destroy Pulver

I can't wait for this show to start up again? Any idea when they are going to start this on TV again? Has filming even started yet? I guess they are trying to build up the newly re-formed lightweight division.

my only problem with this is that pulver lost his first fight back...call in ring rust or whatever...i think he needs a few more fights before he tries to fight penn..who will destroy him for sure...either way...i like the 16 lightweight idea instead of 2 divisions...

Yeah, Pulver hasn't really impressed me since his departure from the UFC, he has fought in quite a few smaller shows, the most recent, IFL. I thought he looked like shit. Sluggish, I hope it turns into a good fight, but I just don't see him standing a chance against Penn. Good luck Lil Evil

yea to throw a guy in the octagon cause of his name is one thing but to put him in there with a guy who took st. pierre and hughes to the brink...not a fair fight

All the fighters have been announced. 1st episode is April 5th at 11pm after the Live fight night.

As always, please don't post any spoilers that you hear about who wins fights before the show airs.

I didn't notice that til you said something. I don't even know how thats possible... he can't be anything but bones and skin.

Yeah I like that too... just a big competition between all 16 guys. They should bracket them by rankings like the NCAA tourney.
