UFC 66 - Liddell vs. Ortiz II
Scheduled televised fights...
Chuck Liddell vs. Tito Ortiz Andrei Arlovski vs. Marcio Cruz Forrest Griffin vs. Keith Jardine Michael Bisping vs. Eric Schafer Chris Leben vs. Jason MacDonald *I'm really pumped about this card actually. And talk about an amazing impact some of the TUF fighters have made on the sport. This will make a great start to a good new years weekend! |

I don't think its just an opinion.. i think its pretty much fact that Jardine beat Bonner. I'd love for someone to watch that fight again and show me how he didn't. I think i'm looking forward to his fight with Forrest more than the main event. Could be a great one. I have Forrest by a 2-1 decision (legit, not a gift).
I'm also excited to see how Bisping looks... he was a beast on the show. Schaffer isn't a joke with his 7-1 record, so it should be a good test for him. I think he'll win. MacDonald lost to Cote, Starnes, and Shonie, but has 5 straight wins with his last one being over Ed Herman. Could be a good one with him and Leben. And what do we think? Liddell going to blast Ortiz out of there again? Am i crazy to think Tito has a shot in the rematch if he goes in with a better game plan? |

well ya never know with bm cause we seem to differ on how fights played out...the hughes/penn one being the biggest..but i think it was obvious jardine won...
bisping was clearly the best during tuf..but i don't think the competition was top level like he'll actually face in the octogan...this should be a good test like you say mcdonald looked good against herman but i think leben is on a different level..i mean he's beaten a ton of guys and yea he lost to silva but its not like silva is a bum...i think leben wins this fight...great test for mcdonald though ortiz has a shot...i mean all the other champs lost recently....why not liddell...i think ortiz can't tire himself out like he did against griffin...if he does, he's in deep trouble... |

Arlovski should not have been fighting Cruz... total mismatch. Jardine is for REAL! I am shocked he beat Forrest that way... its never been done in the UFC before. If not for the total jobbing he got in the scores of the bonnar fight, he could be next in line for a title shot. Bisping didn't look all that great, but got the job done. He's still got some work do do. Freakin Leben! The journey man MacDonald now has back to back wins over leben and Herman. |

shocked by the mcdonald win but thats 2 nice wins in a row...i see the ufc throwing him into a real big fight next..not a title fight but against a top opponent...and he deserves it
didn't see this fight but jardine is pretty nasty...again, he could be 1 fight away from a title shot but that next fight will be against a top guy saw the ortiz/liddell fight....boring as hell...ortiz never threatened..even when he got him down, liddell made it look easy to get back up.... ufc 67....st. pierre/serra....silva/lutter...plus the debuts of the new guys they acquired....not the greatest of cards winner of the silva/lutter fight should take on mike swick in an upcoming ppv...and the winner of st. pierre/serra will probably face hughes since dana white is all up hughe's ass |

I never thought that I would see Forrest lose that way. It always seemed the more you punched him, the more it woke him up, but Jardine just rocked him. It was ridiculous the amount of shots he got in befoer the ref stopped it. And its also clear from the Otriz Lidell fight, the Lidell is clearly in a class of his own. He had Tito scared to shoot in the entire match, and the few times Tito got him down, he was back on his feet quickly. I'm wondering who they can line up next, maybe Quinton Jackson after he gets a couple of UFC fights, otherwise he's just gonna run the division for a while. And speaking of title shots when do you thing Diego Sanchez gonna get one?

Yeah I think we'll see Rampage getting a title shot every soon. They are going to want to play that up and get the fight in before Rampage has a chance to lose. Whats bigger than Liddell fighting a guy who beat him before? The 205 division is LOADED right now. There are so many options, and i think you may see a Rashad Evans vs. Keith Jardine fight soon with the winner of that getting a shot at the champ (most likely Liddell). Because Sobral and Tito won't get a shot before either of them since Liddell crushed them. I can't wait for Diego to get a title shot, however i don' |
