Exclamation Change In Prize Winnings
This post will probably piss off most of you and I am truly sorry that I have to do this.


Due to loss of revenue on the site this past year I have to drop the overall prize money for the picks of the week contest


I hope that this does not cause some of you to walk away from the rant becuase I am lying or am breaking a promise, but I have to do this
I am not willing to use personal income to pay for the winnings and I have $ 1000.00 allocated for the total prize money.

So the winnings for this year will be as follows:

1st place > $400.00
2nd place > $300.00
3rd place > $150.00
4th place > $100.00
5th place > $50.00


Again I am sorry about this, but it is what I must do!

You gotta do what you gotta do, since rules are changing I would not pay any members who are not "active"....the contributing members should be the beneficiaries of the contest.

damn...well i'm all for the changes but to give first only 100 more than second....i think you should eliminate spots 4 and 5 and give it to 1st...and i'm not saying it cause i'm in 1st right now...cause with the jay jinx we all know i'll finish in 4th

Mike, screw the non active members...they do nothing for this site not one damn thing and you will reward them with money? No real members care about the reductions in money, what they care about is the lurkers who only come on once a week to make their picks and leave. I say F them!!
