It's just sick
The Mavericks are on their second 10+ win streak of the season and still only up 2 games on the spurs!! They would be blowing out just about everyone in the East, but are barely keeping their top position in the league due to the strength of the West.
And one other thing... Where did the jazz come from? They are looking about as solid as anyone else and they would be leading any division in the East. Crazy. |

The NBA is a joke... there are 5 teams in the west who would be leading the east. The leaders in the atlantic division are tied with a 13-18 record. The NBA should really just take the 8 best teams and have one tourney.
But the Mavs are incredible... i've been following them a bit since my brother got me into them. |

Oh yeah, did they change the rules on the playoff seeding this season? What a shame it would be to have the best two teams playing before the conference finals once again.

I just think it's great the Boston Celtics are back to their glory days form and challenging for a division title only 1.5 games out.

Yes.
http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=2537369 Another thing that I like about this change is this: "Also, if a team has two 60-second timeouts left in the final two minutes of regulation or in overtime, one will be reduced to a 20-second timeout. Teams will now have two 60-second timeouts and one lasting 20 seconds in overtime, instead of three one-minute timeouts. Clubs will no longer be permitted to carry over a 20-second timeout from regulation into overtime." I hate it that at the last :20 of a game can last 15 min. Ungh. |

Big game coming up on Friday. Mavs in san antonio. With a win tonight against the pacers, the Mavs would be up 2 games on sa going into Friday. Spurs have lost 2 straight and have yet to lose 3 in a row this season. Both teams are white hot and are starting to become a pretty intense rivalry here in the Lone Star state. Most everyone will be able to watch it as it is on espn.
Good times. |

While there isnt' a chance i will watch the game, but good luck to the Mavs. Regular season basketball is not something that my tv sees.

Yeah, good luck to the Mavs, but with such a tight race in the Atlantic,I can't really concentrate on the other lesser divisions.

LOL
Lesser divisions huh? Funny! Jay - I totally understand, however... this game should be more like a playoff game AND these two teams really don't like each other. If nothing else is on think about giving it a shot. |
