"Oh sure I am going to stay in Miami, I do not plan on leaving" Saban Stated.

What a complete and utter liar he turned out to be. At least the other coaches can now talk to the press. What loyalty this guy has.

Why would Alabama pay this guy so much money? Surely he will leave for more money down the road for another program.

I bet he will not get another shot at the National Football League ever again.

Don Shula said that he will not be missed and did he really have any impact, the answer is simple, NOPE!!

He easily wins JAOW for this week for making promises and not sticking by his word

Agree with Ssig.
As far as JAOW,how is Saban different than most other players and coaches
and owners in sports. They always say they want to stay and the owners say they want them to stay. To me Alabama made a 15-17 NFL coach an offer he couldn't refuse. If he stayed in Miami,the fans would probably be calling for his head after next season when the Dolphins go through yet another mediocre year.

Agree with both of you however this is JAOW and this week he is a jackass for the way he handled things. He blatantly stated he was not leaving but followed the dollar signs bouncing up the interstate and hangin a left.

Is it a good move for him, probably, but he handled it in a shitty way. Contracts in sports have become so worthless on both sides of the table.

Though how could he have handled this without media hype. If he says he's leaving he is damned if he says he isn't and leaves he is damned if he doesn't speculate he is considered (most likely) leaving and damned. Ah well I wish I got his money.

When I watched the Tostitos Hawaiin Bowl I saw both June Jones and Jerry Glanville coaching Hawaii. Maybe one of them would come back?(sarcasm)

If Salem doesn't beat Beverly next Thanksgiving we will be ready to offer Saban a contract here(more sarcasm).

We get closer every year. Ithink the score was 49-0 or some silly shit like that a few years back.

I met the coach the other day. Connelly been here two years now and has improved the program each year. After meeting with him he may have a new assistant to help with the strength and conditioning. That will not bode well for beverly.
