UFC 68
They have announced part of UFC 68.....so far we know it will be Tim Sylvia, Matt Hughes and Rich Franklin.....the question remains who they are going to fight

this ppv will be held in ohio

What does this do to the GSP/Serra fight? I hope they do it on a free card now and not delay GSP fighting another big fight.

Sadly, no. He hurt his knee in training and the fight is now off. Which BLOWS because i wanted him to kill Serra on 67... i was going to avoid the whole card cuz its not worth paying for. Who knows what they are going to do now.

**Just my guess, and thoughts, i didn't read this anywhere so i have nothing to back it up with**

I think the UFC wants Sylvia to be the heavyweight champ so he can fight Cro Cop next. They know Vera has the ability to beat Sylvia, and they feel that they can promote Sylvia vs. Cro Cop much easier than Vera vs. Cro Cop. To them, thats their shot at a huge fight... "long time, multiple time champion Sylvia vs. dominating PRIDE fighter".

Hughes vs. Lytle would be a joke! What about Sanchez, Parisian, Fitch, Koshchek?? This would be a major step down... Lytles' last 3 UFC fights... loss to Parisian, loss to Riggs, loss to Serra... amazing.

that card sucks, I saw Quentin Jackson on Pride on FoxSports and he got KO'd like 4 mins into the first by Pride's Silva

Which card? UFC 67? If so, i agree... no way i'm paying for that. They are just going to hype Jackson up as much as possible since he once beat Liddell... and i'm sure they are going to have a rematch.

I totally agree Sig... Gonzaga has 3 straight wins in the UFC, where Vera has 4 and over much bigger names. And it is going to be like boxing... where ranking and who you beat means nothing. Its all about who will sell the most PPV's or seats.

I'm willing to be Cro Cop and Jackson get title shots in only their 2nd fights.

they forgot where they came from already and they've only really gotten bigger in the past 2 years...

vera clearly showed he's a top heavyweight...more so than this other guy...i guess they expect to sell the ppv cause of the three names....but if they fight 3 guys noone cares about...it won't sell
