FIFA 07
So I got Fifa 07 (for Xbox) from my nephew for my bday. So far great game,
I was Arsenal and played Manchester City, lost 1 - 0  Anyone else play, or have thoughts on who I should start a franchise with? This is my attempt at pro soccer, lol. |

i love that game....i thought it was the best soccer game ever made...i miss it..i traded it in when i got 360...fifa for that system is nowhere near the xbox version....
it depends on if you wanna start out low and build up the team or if you wanna just pick a great team and play from there the good teams: england: arsenal manchester united chelsea liverpool spain: real madrid barcelona france: lyon italy: ac milan inter milan juventus germany: bayern munich holland: psv eindhoven feyenoord (there ok) mls(us soccer): new england dc united la galaxy red bulls(local team) |

Sweet, thanks man. Though thats a shit load of teams, given my limited soccer knowledge, I will probably want to start with a good team and get good at the game and go from there.
The game is great only playing one game so far, I'll have to have Jay over and show him how its done. |

i was picking out the teams from the best leagues....if you play the english league enough..you'll start to know the names of the guys and then when you see us talkin about them, you can follow along...then you can start watching the games on fsc on the weekends...next thing ya know, you'll be the new gunny

Its funny, I did notice a lot of the teams names in the I think English league and noticed a familiar player name or two as well.

I have FIFA '05, and just can't get a new one. I've been working on my team to get them they way i want ever since i left New England for Portsmouth. I think i'm in my 5th season. I don't want to have to start all over any time soon. But i LOVE the Fifa games and they get very addicting.

07 dominates 05...plus its updated so you can have the newest team rosters...especially if your on live....
the game play is totally different...after a few games, i'd say i'll take beers to beat you in 07 |

Well after a season or two more, many of my vets may retire, so maybe i'll upgrade to '07. Especially if its that much better. I love '05, and was just afraid that i wouldn't like '07 as much and would just waste the money.
What i care the most about is the career mode... did they update that as well? Do they have stat leaders now? Thats my biggest bitch with '05... you have no idea who is doing what for other teams without going team by team. |

they upgraded everything...the manager mode is the most in depth for fifa ever...they have stats for your team...i don't care about what other guys are doing so i never checked to see....either way 07 is dominant...i wish the 360 version matched it

Sweet, I have a feeling I am gonna love this game, always liked soccer video games, helluva lot more than watching the real thing.
Jay you gotta play it on my tv, its really life like and this isn't even xbox 360, I can't imagine what that looks like. |
