Center's snaps will be limited in practice in hopes of avoiding surgery
The Green Bay Packers will limit center Mike Flanagan's snaps during the week in hopes of helping him avoid knee surgery or at least delaying it until after the season. Flanagan missed most of training camp with tendinitis in his left knee and coach Mike Sherman replaced him with backup Grey Ruegamer for the final series of Green Bay's 21-10 loss to Chicago on Sunday.
