Yeah Diesel mentioned this to me last night and i partially didn't believe him. WTF is up with this? This makes zero sense to me. I tend to agree with Rusty about Lou being full of himself... they are what, the #2 team in the east??

i read the local paper here and they change coaches every year...no stability there...why would anyone want that job...i mean they are good and thats why but to know you could get fired when your 2nd in the conference...its insane...devils organization sucks

Its just hard to question Lou... no matter what he does, he wins. However, that could have alot to do with Blowdoor being your goalie. We'll see what happens once he retires.

I think he did this same shit last year as well. I guess he feels he can better coach this team through the playoffs, but doesn't feel like doing it during the regular season.

I don't think there's is more to it. Nothing that couldn't wait until the off season. Watch out next Devils head coach.....Don't do a bad job or too good of a job.
