Bowman factor = w/o Scotty, they have no heart and too many old D-men.

Ducks over Minny: 4-1
Goaltending vs lack of scoring

Nucks over Stars: 4-2
Roberto shines while Turco chokes trying to attain the once playoff stardom of Belfour.

Sharks over Preds: 4-2
Too many big men vs too many injuries again. Goaltending is a wash against each other.

Sabres over Isles: 4-0
Isles have no chance w/o Dipietro suffering from an head injury

Devs over Bolts: 4-1 . . . VP will be the albatross for the bolts.

Rags over Thrasher: 4-3 . . . pick'em, see-saw battle before the Tkachuk curse strikes again . . . when he's on a playoff team, they go nowhere. He never carried the yotes or the blues on his shoulder like Primeau or Forsberg (when healthy as an AVS).

Sens over Pens: 4-1 . . . rude awakening for the anointed golden boy Crosby. Sens will cheapshot their way to the top. Last game of the series will have some brutal fights.

Shouldn't we have some sort of pts system in place? Of course, have this thread locked before the first PO game start to prevent future edits.

I'd gladly set up a points system, and track this. Any input on scoring would be good. Also, i don't think we'd need to lock the thread... i can print everyones predictions so i know what they were when the games started. All anyone would have to do is print mine out to prove i didn't change them. This is a no money contest, so i don't think anyone would really cheat.

Idea...

10 points = correct winner
5 points = correct # of games
2 points = off by one game

another possibility is to look at the time stamp on the post.

ex: 10 consecutive replies are all within a day. When next week comes, one of the post has a totally different time stamp, not in sequence.
