Contender USA vs. UK?

I would have been but I already know the results of the 6 fights. All 6 fights, plus other ones happened already last friday. Its a cool idea, 5 guys from the contender shows (and one extra) are matched up against 6 of the best up and coming/ older fighters from the UK.

That Anthony Small from last night is a jackass and wich he would have lost. But Walter Wright isn't all that good.

i watched part of it...walter wright didn't look good and anthony small wants to be roy jones so bad...i don't know the results but we'll probably lose

Sorry, didn't know the fights were already decided, since I don't keep up on boxing much I may watch some of this. Watched a good amount of the fight last night. Of course I was rooting for Wright and that Small dude was pissing me off, nice boxing form.

Oh don't be sorry, i am pissed that i saw the results. I didn't see ESPN hyping this up at all, and was reading boxrec and saw all of these fights by the contender guys. AND then i see the commercial for it. Bastards. I will watch it too of course, it seems like a really fun idea. Just wish i could erase my memory.

That was my first encounter with that Small dude, I was hoping a shot would ring out from the crowd if Wright couldn't take him out.

Of course I will be rooting for all American guys, any one in particular that I should llike, anyone like any of the UK dudes?

Lets try to not spoil any of this since I will never read the results and can watch this.

First time i've seen Small either... but i've judged him and will root against him forever. Sue me. lol

I won't spoil a thing... i hate when people do that. (Like i hated reading the damn results)

My opinions...
Jessie Brinkley - cocky, but funny. I liked him for the most part.
Jerson Ravelo - not on the contender shows, he's got real talent, don't know much about his personality.
Freddie Curel - eh, i think he lost his first fight on the show, fast... but needed some work.
Alfonzo Gomez - tough little guy, will never stop fighting. Not much real talent, but with that heart, never out of a fight. really nice guy.
C. Bundridge - big, strong and powerful... not very fast, all raw talent. If he's worked on his game after the show, he can be a stud.

Those are the US guys... the only UK guy i really know anything about is Robin Reid - ex champ, older, but this guy had very good talent.

They said it on the show last night, so i'm not giving anything away....

A win = 1 point. A draw = 1/2 point. If they tie, the team with the most KO's gets the win. They didn't say anything about if they are tied with KO's.

I watched 5 rounds of Small-Wright and walked away. They were both inept and afraid to really mix it up.

I will watch it no more.
