Boring season continues

At least we have the Busch series that is still exciting. The Nextel series is just a total waste of time to watch.

Hey Rusty, what is the difference between the Nextel Cup and the Busch Series, not being NASCAR savvy I figured you could answer for me in a succinct manner rather than me searching all over the internet, that and I'm too lazy.

Thers all kind of different series around the country. Most at local short tracks.Re/Max ARCA,Nascar North and West,Hooters Pro,Craftsman Trucks.
The Busch series is the highest of them, like AAA minors is to MLB.
Except the MLB guys can also play in AAA when it comes to racing and they play in the MLB parks so to speak. The races are just shorter.

OK makes sense, can the drivers use the same cars in the Busch Series though?

I still think its dumb that the top NASCAR guys can race in the 'minor' leagues. Not that it affects me, just seems dumb.

Anyway, Rusty, why the hell did they have mandatory cautions in yesterdays race? I've never heard of that in racing.

Oh and Daddy and I were wondering how much celebrating you were doing after another Gordon win yesterday.

They will do it when track conditions are uncertain as it relates to tire wear.
Pretty much,just a saftey precaution.
Once the Hendrick cars got to the front,I turned it off. I didn't see the actual results until this morning.

Ah, got ya... I did see they were making a big deal about the track being hot and the tires throwing rubber everywhere. But watched a little of the race in between going to two sets of parents houses.

I missed the finish too thankfully.

Yeah, and the rain Saturday scrubbed all the old rubber off the track so way different conditions from pre-rain practices.
