yea I was talking to some of my friends the other night about the cup finals, and glancing over the post season stats for each team I thought Id point out a few interesting stats

1) Ducks might not have a person with 10 goals, but we have 3 people with 5 goals and 3 people with 4 goals

Good.Ducks just have one line to shut down
Credit the shutouts to the Ottawa D playing in front of Emery blocking most of the shots and clogging shooting lanes.

I think special team like the PP/Pk would be the deciding factor . . . In game 3, the wings lost their opportunity against the Pronger-less ducks. Then, the wings folded their tent after the OT lost, and Lilja committed the second worse sin as a D-man, skating in front of your net.

Again, I should have trusted my mantra: W/o Bowman, the wings have no chance!

I see it this way - Anaheim had to beat a stronger team to get here, the Sen's haven't had a battle yet, and might just fold under the Ducks' pressure.
Stop the Sen's big line and you stop the Sens. Emery is overrated (except as a boxer). The quacks are gonna win the cup.

I don't know if the wings are that strong. On paper, they are great on experience like any post-Bowman years, but they lacked heart to progress any further in the playoffs.

Dats + Zetter can't be the whole team like Lidstrom + Chelios (playing until he's 50 years old).

don't think the wings lacked heart, they just lost to a better team with more legs. Agree that Bowman was the key to their previous successes though.
