The NBA is Fixed?

You know when you think all the calls are going for a certain team? You know how people were saying refs were giving a game to a certain team? Looks like you could be right.

July 20, 2007 -- THE FBI is investigating an NBA referee who allegedly was betting on basketball games - including ones he was officiating during the past two seasons - as part of an organized-crime probe in the Big Apple, The Post has learned.

The investigation, which began more than a year ago, is zeroing in on blockbuster allegations that the referee was making calls that affected the point spread to guarantee that he - and the hoods who had their hooks in him - cashed in on large bets.

If this is true it won't really be a shocker. Basketball is probably the easiest of the professional sports to fix and having a ref in your pocket would be the best way to go about it.

Who's the ref? My money is on the guy that blew up at Duncan and the Spurs.

It would not shock me at all. I've pretty munch always thought it was fixed anyway.

Eli, I love hearing about the Dick dog fighting stories over and over again...this is one media blitz I hope continues and never stops...sure it may be annoying but the more bad press he gets the better.

What I don't understand is why people are so surprised by the fact that he bet on GAMES HE WAS OFFICIATING.

Well, duh... the first rule of winning is to rig the game.
