Sports Illustrated should be ashamed

Sports Illustrated put up this picture right after he did it and I cannot believe that they did this. I am sure most of you will disagree and I will get hammered for this, but honestly I do not care. SI.com should be ashamed for putting up a picture like this on their site, they should believe that everyone in this country is innocent until proven guilty especially for a corporate business such as SI.

It is totally unfair for them to do this, it would be different to me if it was a site like sportsrant or another sports blog, but this is just wrong

I agree its just an opinion but you wouldn't think a company like theres would do something like this. I really could careless I see Barry Bonds as a cheater no matter what. Unless they go back in time and can watch footage of his entire life and see him never inject a steroid I will never believe his side of the story. Look at the man theres no way in hell his head grew like that come on. Did he do some brainbusters every night online? Don't think so he's a cheater but I don't think this should of been posted be happy for the man if you want be angry at him but don't do that......

The media is free to report as they see fit and all they have done with this picture is asterisk the record because of doubt surrounding the validity of the record being broken without cheating.

How has he not been proven guilty, again he did in fact admit to 'inadvertantly" using steroids in front of a grand jury. SI by the way is more like the NY Post than the NY Times. Not that the Times is above malignant slander.

i think its a legit picture since steroids are an issue..if they gave maris an asterick cause of the game played in a season, this could easily go in also with an asterick
